Let’s Talk Power and Heat
Every machine is different. Maybe you need shortwave radiation to get things hot fast, or medium-wave to really get deep into the material. Either way, it comes down to the physics of the build. We tweak the filament diameter and the tube length until we hit the exact wattage you’re looking for. But a quick heads-up: if you’re pushing for max wattage in a tiny tube, things get intense. That heat has to go somewhere.Make sure your cooling fans can actually handle the load, otherwise, you’re going to end up with melted sockets. Not a great look.
The Nitty-Gritty: Glass and Plugs
We use high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because it lets the infrared light through without fighting it. Depending on what you’re doing, we can even add specialized coatings to shift the heat spectrum or keep chemical splashes from ruining the tube. As for the electrical side, we stick with standard R7s or SK15 connectors. They just work. They slide right in as drop-in replacements for most industrial heaters, and they stay put. Even if your machinery vibrates like crazy, these lamps aren’t going to rattle loose.

If you’re running PET blowing, powder coating, or drying lines, you know the environment is brutal. These things run 24/7. Since we own the production line, we can actually adjust the filament tension. It sounds like a small detail, but it’s what stops the lamps from burning out prematurely.
