The Nitty-Gritty on Heat and Power
Inside, you’ve got tungsten filaments tucked into high-purity quartz. If you want a faster ramp-up, just bump up the voltage. One thing we’re proud of is the halogen gas injection. It stops the tungsten from gunking up the inside of the tube. Without it, the quartz gets cloudy and your wattage starts to dip. With it? The tube stays clear and the power stays consistent for the long haul. **One quick warning though:**if you’re squeezing a high-wattage tube into a tiny space, those lamp ends are going to get scorching hot. Make sure your sockets can take the heat, or you’ll be dealing with melted plastic and a lot of frustration.
Fitting Them Into Your Setup
We used quartz because it can handle extreme temperatures without warping or twisting. Plus, we stick to standard connectors. This means you can usually just swap them into your existing IR arrays without a headache. The reflector does more than just save energy. Where This Actually Works

Since these hit peak temp almost instantly, they’re perfect for conveyor belts where things are moving quickly. Just be careful with your positioning.
