A high-density tube gets you up to temperature fast, but it puts a massive strain on your power. If you’re running 400V, you can push energy over longer tubes without losing power along the way. It’s a balancing act. We weigh the tube length against the heat flux so your product gets hot enough—without scorching the surface.
Picking the Right Gear
Depending on what you’re heating, we’ll lean toward quartz or halogen. Shortwave IR digs deep into the material. Medium-wave is your go-to for surface curing. To make your life easier, we use standard connectors like R7s or SK15. That means they just slide right into your existing rigs. And if your shop is a bit messy? We’ve got you. We apply special coatings to the quartz so pollutants don’t bake onto the glass. Without those, your tubes burn out way too fast.
See It Work Before You Pay
I’m not going to ask you to trust a brochure. Instead, we run a “test-before-buy” trial. You put our system head-to-head against your current setup on your own line. We’ll clock the cycle times and check the energy draw together. But here’s the catch: high heat density creates a lot of ambient heat around the housing. If your fans and ventilation can’t keep up, the system will just trip the thermal cutout and shut down. We’ll find those bottlenecks during the trial. That way, you know exactly what you’re getting before you commit to a full order.
